Elorie Slater and Rob London depart C4C’s board of directors. The entire organization and community owes them a huge thanks. Rob let his two year term expire, will continue to serve as treasurer until C4C replaces him, and turns his focus to his family and career. It’s a long story but Rob got “voluntold” to do this job, he accepted gracefully, produced books that make C4C look professional, did a job that is a few hours of real work each month, and he lent crucial oversight to C4C in the form of his thoughtful attention and guidance.
Elorie and her husband move on to their next chapter having sold their business here in Boulder. A little unexpected but the nature of such things, it’s great news for them. Elorie brought enormous energy, branding, and marketing expertise to C4C. She improved a lot of things that C4C was waiting to improve when the right time came. Elorie seized the opportunity and did those things.
The board and staff wish them both the best and thank them for their service to C4C, its mission, and work in the community.
C4C is also excited to add two new additions, Kathleen Bracke and David Blankenship. Both of them bring critical experience to C4C’s board and it’s fantastic to have them. Learn more at https://coalition4cyclists.org/about/#team.
Board service is not easy at times. Thank you to everyone who, over the years, has worked to make cycling safer and to preserve or improve a great way of life in Boulder County.
