Boulder, May 19, 2015 – Seventeen inches in six days. All Coloradoans remember the rainfall numbers from the 2013 floods that left infrastructure mangled and personal property destroyed across the Front Range. More fondly, however, we remember the tight-knit community that came together and rebuilt what Governor Hickenlooper declared “a natural disaster emergency”.Shortly after the floods, enthusiasts in the county rallied road cyclists, mountain bikers, and riders of all types, from casual to professional, and put together a fundraiser for Jamestown, one of the hardest hit areas. Cyclists 4 Jamestown took in more than $120,000 in just 3 weeks to help the town rebuild. The group behind the effort saw an opportunity and formed Cyclists 4 Community in 2014 and put on a similar successful event last September, Cyclists 4 Lyons.Simultaneously, the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) stepped i.
